Chiropractic is a regulated primary healthcare profession.
Chiropractors are trained to diagnose treat, manage and help prevent disorders of the neuromusculoskeletal system, as well as the effects these disorders can have on the nervous system and general health. As chiropractors we have a special interest in spinal health. However when assessing you we take into consideration the physical, emotional and social wellbeing.
In our practice, we utilise a range of techniques to help reduce pain, improve function and increase mobility. These techniques include hands on manipulations and or mobilisations of the spine. We also use a lot more gentler techniques such as sacral occipital technique (SOT) which helps torsion in the spine. Also, we use activator methods, soft tissue work, stretches and of course rehabilitation along with life style advice.
People come to us with a whole variety of concerns. Of course our first goal is to help get you out of pain. However we don’t stop there. Our hope is to help keep your body healthy by teaching you ways to stretch and move and correct small issues before they turn into big issues.
